Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek was born in the United States. She is known for portraying Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks in the USA Network television series Covert Affairs Dr. Amber Volakis on the Fox series House Lura Grant in the HBO series Big Love and Francine Hanson on the AMC show Mad Men. Anne Dudek was an American actress best known for her role as Tiffany Wilson from the 2004 comedy White Chicks. Her other roles include her TV roles, including the character Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's sitcom House Danielle Brookson in USA Network's drama Covert Affairs and Lura Grant in HBO's drama Big Love. Dudek was raised and born in Massachusetts. She went to Northwestern University, where her first performance as an actress was in a theatrical production called The Iphigenia Cycle. It was staged off Broadway in New York City where she earned the Joseph E. Calloway award for her stunning performance and was featured as one of the top 10 young theater actors to follow by American Theater Magazine. Dudek found roles on TV and in the movies. Matthew Heller, the talented actress and mother-of-two behind the camera was her husband for a period of time from the year 2008 until 2016. Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 22 1975 but was raised in Newton. When she was a child she was a student at Northwestern University where she performed in various theater productions. Her debut on the stage was also her Broadway debut in Wrong Mountain (2000). The following year, she won the Connecticut Critics Circle Award for her role in The Glass Menagerie. Then she appeared on TV initially in The Book Group, a British comedy-drama The Book Group. She has also guest starred on a few other series like Desperate, Housewives and How I Met Your Mother and Friends Charmed Bones. She also played Lucinda in the pilot episode of Psych. In the following episode, she was a high school teacher with a romantic relationship to one of her students in Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek was then offered a regular character in House from its fourth season, playing Amber Volakis one of forty physicians who are being considered by Dr. Gregory House for permanent positions in his team. The character Amber Volakis was featured in the course of the series, until it was finally killed off at the conclusion of House's Heart. She would later reappear in a form of hallucination in the fifth-season episode House in the episode of the fifth season Saviors after which she appeared as such for the remainder of the series. Dudek later appeared in Mad Men as next-door neighbor Francine Hanson as well as on Big Love as one of Alby Grant's antagonistic wives both of them frequently appearing role. Dudek was cast in Covert Affairs as Danielle Brooks as the sister of the main character. In 2004, she played Tiffany Wilson, a cruise-line hero in White Chicks. She also played Anthony Hopkins daughter in The Human Stain.
